SCR 20260008 Program Change Request

Prepare for the upcoming Payday Super Changes by installing our latest program update. 

New Program changes are now available:

  • New Parameter - Pay: PayDay Super Clearing House.

Installation:

To install the changes, the file requires a program installed on your computer that can extract zipped archives.

A widely used archiving program is Winzip, which can be downloaded here. 

Archiving programs 'zip' multiple files into a package, and they also 'unzip' or 'extract' files from zipped packages. You will be using the 'unzip' or 'extract' function of your archiving program.

The ZIP file will be titled SCR20260008.ZIP and the folder can be downloaded from the email distributed by our Customer Support Team. 

 

Instructions:

  1. Logout of any Ezy applications running on your machine.

  2. Open the downloaded zip file (by clicking the button on the Customer Support email).

    • You may receive a security warning.

    • You also may be prompted to either Open or Save the attachment. If so select Open.

    • An archiving program (like Winzip) should start.

  3. Within the archiving program you should be able to extract the contents of the zip file to a folder called TESTPRG. This is located under the Ezy root folder on your server. If you are not sure where the Ezy root folder is, you may need additional assistance to complete this update installation and we suggest you reach out to our Customer Support Team. 

    • When using Winzip, it may be in 'Wizard' mode. If so, just follow the prompts.

    • All archiving programs will have an extract option.

  4. Once you have updated the programs in the TESTPRG folder, log back into Ezy and Rebuild indexes.

Rebuild Indexes

Run Rebuild Indexes on the Payroll module only to make database changes before using.

Log back into Ezy & review expected changes. 

NOTE:  The program code is located in the top right-hand corner of the Ezy screen, below the date.
You can check the version date of a program by going into the program, then pressing the Information button which is the third button from the right on the tool bar at the top of the screen.
